The MX-10 is the machine to buy when access is the problem. With the undercarriage retracted it is 27.6 in. wide, so it passes a standard 30 in. garden gate and a doorway on a strip-out job; extended to 39.4 in. it is stable enough to dig at full reach. At 2,205 lb operating weight it tracks across a finished lawn on rubber without tearing it up.
Dig depth is 5 ft 9 in. and maximum reach at ground level is 12 ft 1 in., which covers footings for a garden room, a soakaway, a shallow drainage run or a pond. A 13.5 hp three-cylinder diesel drives the hydraulics, the boom offsets so you can dig hard against a wall, and the front dozer blade backfills and levels without a second machine. The auxiliary hydraulic circuit is fitted as standard.

Attachment fitment
Its pin is 1.57 in. (40 mm) and the ears are 5.9 in. (150 mm) apart. Every attachment in our Excavator Attachments collection ships with a pin and bush kit that covers 40 – 50 mm pins and 150 – 200 mm ears, so the bucket, thumb, ripper and quick coupler all pin straight on. The 12 in. auger drive is the exception: it needs 8 – 16 gpm and this machine has 5.3 gpm, so it will not turn it.
Warranty and support
The warranty that applies is the manufacturer’s written warranty supplied with the machine. Ask us before you order and we will send you the exact terms – period, what is covered and what is not – in writing. Emissions and California
Ask us for the engine’s EPA emissions family number and its CARB status before you order if the machine is going to California, and we will send it to you in writing. WARNING: diesel engine exhaust and some of its constituents are known to the State of California to cause cancer, birth defects and other reproductive harm. Looking after it: grease every pin boss daily, check the track tension weekly and keep the rubber tracks clear of packed stone. Change the hydraulic filter at the interval given in the machine handbook, not by feel.
This machine ships free to any address in the 48 contiguous states on a freight carrier: a flatbed or drop-deck truck, unloaded down ramps at the curbside with you or your driver present. Dispatch takes 1 – 2 business days and transit a further 3 – 6. Unused machines can be returned within 30 days of delivery.
