The MX-25 is the machine for utility trenching and site strip-out work where you have to track along a boundary. The reduced tail swing keeps the counterweight inside 4 in. of the track width when the house swings, so you can work close to a fence or a parked vehicle without a spotter watching the back end.
Operating weight is 5,512 lb, dig depth is 8 ft 8 in. and reach at ground level is 16 ft 5 in. – enough for a deep drainage run, a septic connection or a set of raft footings. A 24.8 hp three-cylinder diesel drives two variable-displacement pumps, so tracking and slewing at the same time does not starve the boom. It ships with a 24 in. trenching bucket, an offset boom, a dozer blade and an auxiliary hydraulic circuit.

Attachment fitment
Its pin is 1.77 in. (45 mm), the ears are 7.1 in. (180 mm) apart and it has 9.5 gpm of auxiliary flow – so every one of the five attachments in our Excavator Attachments collection fits and runs on this machine, the 12 in. auger drive included.

The warranty that applies is the manufacturer’s written warranty supplied with the machine. Emissions and California
Ask us for the engine’s EPA emissions family number and its CARB status before you order if the machine is going to California, and we will send it to you in writing. WARNING: diesel engine exhaust and some of its constituents are known to the State of California to cause cancer, birth defects and other reproductive harm. Looking after it: grease all pins daily and the slew bearing weekly, check track tension after the first 50 hours, and keep the tracks clear of stone when working on hardcore – packed stone is what shortens a rubber track.
This machine ships free to any address in the 48 contiguous states on a freight carrier: a flatbed or drop-deck truck, unloaded down ramps at the curbside with you or your driver present. Dispatch takes 1 – 2 business days and transit a further 3 – 6. Unused machines can be returned within 30 days of delivery.
